Start out strong
Our work together starts during your pregnancy with a Prenatal Consult. Establishing care before delivery means you won’t be scrambling to find support or fumbling with equipment after your baby arrives.
Just a text away
If you’ve established care during pregnancy, then when you deliver, you’ll simply send a text to your MilkMatters Lactation Consultant to notify us that your baby has arrived and schedule a visit. In that first visit after delivery, we’ll focus on teaching you how to get your baby latched comfortably, and show you how to tell that your baby is getting enough to eat.
If you weren’t able to get set up with a MilkMatters Lactation Consultant during pregnancy, that’s okay! We can usually add in new clients who have already delivered.
Always prepared for what comes next
You’ll meet with your MilkMatters Lactation Consultant for routine check-ins throughout the first year. At those visits, we’ll weigh your baby and make sure things are on track, and provide guidance for upcoming changes.
