Lactation Support from Ashley Lawson, RN, IBCLC

Ashley is currently out on maternity leave! We look forward to welcoming her back sometime in the spring of 2026.

If you are a former client of Ashley and looking for a follow-up appointment or other support, please contact us at hello@milkmattersny.com and let us know you were previously working with Ashley. One of our other lactation consultants will be very happy to help you!

Working with Ashley

Ashley offers Lactation Consults for new and established clients at the MilkMatters Delmar office, located at 345 Delaware Ave, Delmar, NY 12054, and virtually.

Loved everything about this experience! Ashley was amazing and was able to come to my home just days after the baby was born to help! She made me feel so good about exclusively pumping! I’m glad I found her before giving birth! It was nice to have a more intimate experience, the hospital felt rushed and didn’t offer much help!

From pregnancy to the newborn phase, I’m so happy I found a lactation consultant. I felt prepared for the baby, and then wasn’t due to an unforeseen hospital stay due to jaundice. Ashley answered my questions, and gave amazing advice. I feel like we are thriving now because of her advice and help.

More about Ashley

Ashley has been working with breastfeeding families since 2018 and became an IBCLC in 2020. Working in pediatric and OB offices, Ashley has loved supporting families through this beautiful, wonderful, and also very challenging time in their lives.

When Ashley had her first baby and personally experienced struggles and challenges, she became even more passionate about making lactation support accessible and busting myths about breastfeeding and lactation.

When she is not working, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, photography, crafting, and gardening. She loves living in the country in the beautiful Schoharie Valley.

Ashley has been a tremendous help. We are so thankful to have found her. She answered all of our questions without judgement, which is great as first time parents.
